Student Learning Maps
Student Learning Maps are our road map to learning. They help the teacher's stay focused on the most important concepts in each unit, as well as let the students know where we are going, and how it relates to the big picture. These student learning maps were created based on the Common Core State Standards, the new standards that have been adopted by many states nation-wide.
The student learning maps are displayed in the classroom throughout the entire unit. We build it by adding Lesson Essential Questions under concepts as we move through the unit. Students will also be recording their student learning map in their notebooks. For each link, you will find the completed Student Learning Map for that unit. |
Daily Lessons
The daily problem of the day (POD) and agenda are posted on a slide show that is available online. They are updated in real-time, and sometimes may change based on adjustments that may be needed during the lesson.
It is a great way to know what work was missed during a missed class, or for parents to check to see what their students did in class that day. Students should be reviewing the work they did in class on a nightly basis. |
